Latex allergy is another type of allergy that can lead to anaphylaxis (a deadly kind of allergy). This allergy can only be prevented since no known cure is found. The cause of this allergy is due to the rubber or latex used in products like erasers, balloons, surgical gloves, rubber bands, toothbrush, band aids and many more. Since this can become dangerous especially to people who have a severe reaction it’s important to bring an injection of adrenaline (epinephrine). Usually this injection can be prescribed by your doctor and you can bring it with your wherever you go just in case an attack occurs. For milder cases of allergy the doctor prescribed antihistamine and cream to relieve reactions.   But the best way to prevent this from coming is avoiding products that contain latex.
