Epidermolysis Bullosa
This skin condition is very dangerous and rare. Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a genetic disease that makes skin so fragile and sensitive. Our skin has two layers the epidermis and dermis and between the layer is an anchor. In the EB patient’s case the anchor between the two layer is lacking. So, if there is a friction between the layers like rubbing and pressure thus it creates blisters and sores. The people who suffer from this rare disease compares the blisters to a third degree burn.
This is a condition where proper care should be given and enough information be assimilated to people concern. The goal is to minimize the blisters as much as possible and if it occurs to treat them with the help of the doctors. There are many websites, support group, organizations that offer tips and guide in helping people who suffer from EB. I have cited some useful websites that can help you know more about EB and how to treat these diseases.
