Causes, symptoms and preventions
The causes of asthma are both genetic and environmental in nature. Many researchers have studied asthma but still have not quite grasped its origins. Although some believe that the environment pollutant can greatly affect the asthmatic patients. Genes also played an important determinant if your child is prone to asthma.
It is important for you to know the signs and symptoms of asthma in order for you to seek medical help and intervention. Some of the common signs of asthma are coughing at night time, shortness of breath, tightness in chest, pains and pressure in the chest, constant coughing or puffing and tiredness. However, different people may not experience all the signs and symptoms at one setting. At times asthma attacks could just be mild and silent and then later on become severe.
It is easier for you to prevent asthma if you already know its signs and symptoms so that you can threat it immediately whenever asthma attacks. But the most important thing is to prevent the asthma triggers so that you can minimize the attacks. These triggers are the environmental factors like moulds, pollens, smokes, pet dander, etc. Always remember prevention is better than cure.
